BOAT OWNER'S NOTES. This 2001 Great Harbour 37 (original owner)is a sharp looking white and green trawler. The twin 56 HP, fresh water-cooled Yanmar diesel engines provide an economical cruise without visiting the fuel pump after a full days run. These engines are just breaking in at 2,651 hours. Boarding. There are three ways to board. 1) From a floating dock. 2) From the dinghy. 3) From a fixed pier board from the starboard at mid ship using a portable ladder. As you prepare to board at the cockpit starboard swing gate you will notice that the entire cockpit has been enclosed with a custom fitted 40% tinted Plexiglas panels. At the center of the cockpit are the doublewide doors, giving a wide centered entry to the salon. Salon. Looking into the cabin is a large maple wood flooring room, bigger than most 48 foot vessels, you see all the way forward to the master bedroom mirror. Engine room. Climbing down the wooden ladder that straddles two Yanmar diesel engines and a 13 kwh Kohler gen. Set is a well-lit room with plenty of room to maneuver. Galley. A double wide GE refrigerator with ice and water dispenser on the door, wow! Den & head. Across from the galley is a cabin all to itself. A full double pedestal desk, overhead cabinets and a bookcase. The head features a full sink, medicine cabinet and an electric burning head (no black water discharge). Master cabin & head. A full size queen tempurpedic mattress, full closets, lots of drawers, small TV and a large mirror. A full sink with medicine cabinet, a Mansfield head and full shower stall with sliding glass doors. Pilothouse. A short climb from the salon reveals an enclosed pilothouse with 360 degrees of excellent view. Sleeps 3, has a table, a Stidd pilot seat and all of the electronic needed to cruise well! Portuguese bridge. Protection on both sides and forward, with storage, of the pilot house. Sun deck. Large enough for a 6 person hot tub! Swim Platform. A TNT hydraulic lift that makes launching the dinghy a breeze. Hull. Painted with a Copper Poxy coating, twin load bearing skegs, and oversized steel rudders. The props are 4 bladed.
